EXCLUSIVE: BATMAN ’66 Museum Exhibit EXTENDED

Holy Popular Demand!

The Hollywood Museum’s Batman ’66 exhibit, a wonderfully colorful tribute to the TV show, was originally supposed to end in April. Then, it was extended to the end of May.

Now, due to popular demand, it will run through the end of September, according to Burt Ward’s rep Roger Neal, who is one of the exhibition’s chief organizers. (Exact date unclear.)

Not only that, there’s more superhero news to come on this front, so keep an eye out.

If you’re a Batman ’66 fan based in the Los Angeles area, you’re doing yourself a disservice if you don’t take advantage of the extra months this exhibit will be around. We covered its grand opening back in January and it lived up to the hype. (Click here for an UP-CLOSE LOOK.)

And here’s the thing: If you don’t live around LA but have the opportunity to go — take it. I know that it’s not practical for everyone but I made the voyage from the real Gotham City — New York — and I’m so glad I did. (Click here for ticket info.)

The exhibit is jammed with legit memorabilia from the show, as well as remarkably detailed, dead-on accurate costume replicas and props.

If you need any further inducement — there are no plans to turn this into a traveling show, mind you — check out our previous coverage. You’ll dig it:
