Dig These Fantastic FANTASTIC FOUR Variant Covers

A tour through FF history coming this August…

The long-awaited return of the Fantastic Four — by Dan Slott and Sara Pichelli — is this August, but by now you probably know that.

Well, Marvel’s throwing its marketing might behind it with no less than 20 special variant covers across its publishing line — with each picking off a particular period in FF lore, going back to the beginning. (This doesn’t even include the metric ton of regular variants we’re expecting for Fantastic Four #1 itself.)

The artistic line-up is an impressive array of megawatt talent. Check ’em out:

  1. Most of the artists don’t get the Thing, he is not huge like the hulk, he does not have a jutting jaw.
