Dig JIM LEE’s Variant Cover for ROBIN’s 80th ANNIVERSARY — Now in Color

The 1940s decade-tribute cover gets a lovely sheen by colorist Alex Sinclair…

We’ve been tracking the decade covers for March 11’s one-shot Robin 80th Anniversary 100-Page Super Spectacular #1 — and now we have Jim Lee and Scott Williams’ 1940s cover in full color by Alex Sinclair:

I dug the tribute to Detective Comics #38 from the get-go, but I especially like that Sinclair preserved that peach color seen on the 1940 original, even if the newer one’s a bit darker:
