Dig BRIAN BOLLAND’s Groovy Cover to WHO’S WHO OMNIBUS Vol. 2

Heroes on the run!

As we told you last summer, DC is planning a second Who’s Who Omnibus volume and the publisher on Friday is set to make it official — along with showing off a groovy cover by Brian Bolland and co.

Dig the official solicitation info, as well as a glimpse of the cover:

$150.00 US | 1,216 pages | 7 1/16″ x 10 7/8″ | Hardcover

ON SALE 9/6/22

A few thoughts:

— If you notice, George Perez — whose art adorned the cover of Vol. 1 — is also listed as a cover artist, along with “others.” Like Vol. 1, this will be a wraparound cover, so there’s still much to come.

— UPDATE: Our buddy and contributor Chris Franklin notes in the comments that “the Bolland art is lifted from one of the two binders DC released to hold the loose-leaf Who’s Who pages. I believe the Wonder Woman leg we see is from the other binder, drawn by George Perez. Lightray is from his loose-leaf entry by Art Adams! Starro’s “arm” may be from the Jim Aparo-drawn loose-leaf entry. That’s quite a collage!” Thanks, Chris!

— If you’re a Bolland fan, you’re in luck. DC is also publishing the DC Poster Portfolio: Brian Bolland, on sale in December 2022 for $24.99. It features 20 12″ x 16″ removable covers suitable for framing.
