One of comics’ greatest writers has died…
Denny O’Neil, one of the greatest and most influential writers in comics history, has died at the age of 81.
Batman, Green Lantern/Green Arrow, The Question, Iron Man, Daredevil, the list keeps going. And who better to remember O’Neil than those who worked with him or were influenced by him.

RIP Dennis O’Neil. He was writer who helped put the dark back into the Dark Knight then went on to become the best editor the Batman books ever had. I remember going to a lecture of his years ago at Words and Pictures in Northampton, MA. Mr. O’Neil was an engaging public speaker and was as friendly as can be when signing our books after. He was the Batman editor of my generation, just as Norm Breyfogle, was the Batman artist of my generation. Rest well, Mr. O’Neil. You will be missed.
