As part of TOYHEM!, we’re bringing you a series-within-a-series — the Custom Mego Box of the Day, by 13th Dimension contributor and customizer extraordinaire Anthony Durso.

Custom Mego Box of the Day #9 was inspired by Crisis on Infinite Earths. Click here.

And, now we bring you Custom Mego Box of the Day #10:

SIX-ARMED SPIDER-MAN

Says Anthony: This was done for a custom figure I made about 15 years ago. I think I was the first to do a six-armed Spider-Man in Mego format. At the time I made a wider box to showcase the arms fully extended but I’ve since switched to this standard size box.

Says Dan: Even though I had almost all there was to have on the 8-inch Mego Batman front, Spider-Man was one of my absolute fave figs and I wanted to make sure Peter Parker got represented in this series. He also goes really well with this pair. So dig this box — Gil Kane art and all!

Anthony Durso is the owner of Retropolis Tees (click here) and The Toyroom toy package customizing company (click here), so make sure you check out his nifty wares.
