BATMAN ’89 is Back on the Big Screen

Seeing it tonight!

It’s been 25 years since the last time I saw Tim Burton and Michael Keaton’s Batman on the big screen — but thanks to the Alamo Drafthouse, I’m getting that chance again.

Now, it’s a one-night-only engagement near me, at a theater in Yonkers, NY, but if you happen to be one of the lucky souls who lives near an Alamo Drafthouse, check their listings or call the theater. The movie’s part of something called the Shiner Soundtrack Series. According to the Alamo website: “Presented by Shiner Beer, this series celebrates music rich movies, from popular favorites to deep cuts — all played righteously large and loud.”

So, tonight, I dance with the devil in the pale, snowy moonlight.
