The Official Pick of BATMAN’S HOT-LINE!
We have a LOT of Batman coverage coming up, so I’m dispensing with the regular BATMAN’S HOT-LINE column this week.
But I couldn’t sit idly by and miss the opportunity to pick my admittedly self-indulgent BATBOOK OF THE WEEK.
Surprising absolutely nobody, I’m sure, the pick is Batman ’66 Meets the Green Hornet #2, out Wednesday 7/2 from DC. The first print issue of the Kevin Smith/Ralph Garman/Ty Templeton tour de force was right on the money.
Anyway, this is the latest print installment of the digital-first title, and I cannot wait! (And check out that fantastic Alex Ross cover!)
Also coming out this week are Batman Eternal #13, a title I’ve really enjoyed, even if it’s a little derivative; Batwing #33; and Batman Superman #12, a title I’ve actually given up on.
