BATBOOK OF THE WEEK: Titans Hunt #5

Hey, look! Dick in a mask!

Kind of a thin week on the Batfront — unless you count this week’s selection of Neal Adams variants (click here), which includes this beauty:

It’s mostly titles like the uneven and aforementioned Robin: Son of Batman, which seems to have an uncertain future now that DC’s deep into the Rebirth planning.

Anyway, I’m going with the old/new Teen Titans in Titans Hunt #5 by Abnett and Siqueira. It’s a kick to see the old band back together, and as much as I enjoy Grayson, it’s good to see Dick back in costume.

ALSO ON THE BATSHELVES THIS WEEK: Batman and Robin Eternal #20; Harley Quinn #25, with Miss Harl facing Mr. J; Poison Ivy: Cycle of Life and Death #2; the aforementioned Robin: Son of Batman #9. There’s also the second trade paperback featuring Batgirl of Burnside, which now seems to be a flashpoint of fanboy and fangirl anger. What. Ever.
