13 COVERS: Dig These Classic SUPERHERO ACTIVITY BOOKS

With Mike Allred’s Madman on the horizon!

It’s that time of year — more cooler, rainy days as we deepen into fall. As kids, that was always a good time to bust out the coloring books and activity books that featured everthing from Batman to Planet of the Apes.

Coloring books and activity books are slightly different animals. The former tend to be straight-up adventures that you can color while the latter are usually filled with puzzles and mazes and cutouts and (sometimes) stickers and whatnot.

Comics supercreator Mike Allred gets this. He and his pal Chris Irving have put together a ginchy Kickstarter for the Madmania Shindig Activity Book — a groovy package of games and puzzles pattered after those pubs of yore.

Everything Mike touches turns to gold so this is a project well worth your time — click here for more info. It’s already funded but there are a whole bunch of add-ons that are being included with two weeks to go in the campaign.

So with that in mind, we pay tribute with 13 COVERS featuring classic superheroes and characters from the Silver and Bronze Ages to get you in that activity-book frame of mind.

So dig these — and make sure you check out Mike’s Kickstarter.
