13 COVERS: A TRINA ROBBINS Birthday Celebration

The pioneering underground artist turns 78.

Trina Robbins — born Aug. 17, 1938 — was at the forefront of the underground comics movement and, later, the first woman to draw Wonder Woman for DC Comics. Her sunny, cartoony style is all the more subversive given the adult, progressive themes of her work.

Today, we step back with a 13 COVERS salute. And if your favorite’s missing, feel free to add it to the comments below or in whichever social-media thread you found this.
