So the Bat-hits just keep on comin’ from Funko.

Earlier this month, the company released a silver Batmobile/orange Batman set (click here), adding to its line of variants. This on top of the Red Batmobile set produced for San Diego Comic-Con. (Click here.)

Now, with New York Comic Con a little more than a month away, Funko today unveiled a show-exclusive blue Batmobile, with a Batman featuring brighter blue costume accents:

Dig this video, which features the rest of Funko’s DC NYCC line-up (including a Batman ’66 Dorbz 3-pack of villains):

Though it’s the most subdued compared to the other variant rides — I expect a gold one at some point — this one is closest to my heart since I have the original Japanese tin toy from the early ’70s it’s based on.

My own Aoshin Batmobile from Japan, along with its Funko Dorbz counterpart.

Thankfully, NYCC is early this year (10/5-8). That means a shorter wait to get this baby on my Batshelf.

Oh, and here are some nice, clean pix of that Dorbz 3-pack:

The Batmobile will likely be in the $50 ballpark, with the Dorbz 3-pack around $25.

This does raise an interesting mystery though: The window display at Funko’s new retail shop in Everett, Wash., shows some intriguing Batman variants. (Click here for more on that.)

If the yellow or blue variants aren’t coming with the blue Batmobile, where else might we see these guys — other than a gold Batmobile?

A riddle worthy of the Riddler!
